This is the first post in a series of posts about Pi Wars 2017 for which we will be entering with our robot that has yet to be designed, built and coded up. Pi Wars 2017 is due to take place on 1st and 2nd April 2017 and the Ely Makers team will compete in the Intermediate category competition on the second day of the event.
On this site we will follow the design and development of our robot and we will aim to post about progress here every two to three weeks at least. In the long run we are hoping that these posts will help to inspire other makers and teams to develop their own robots and compete in future events.
Ely Makerspace is an inclusive group for people of all ages with an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths. In due course we are aiming to set up our own makerspace venue where we can get together and help each other and share experiences and projects.
