Say hello to Plotter Bot – a Pi Zero controlled servo plotter!
Plotter bot uses two servos and a few pieces of technics lego to move a pen over a sheet of paper. It was fun to build and the code is very easy to understand and experiment with.
Bill of Materials (BOM):
- Raspberry Pi Zero – £5 (or £14 for the Pi Zero W with adaptors)
- Jumper leads (F to F) – £2.5 (Pimoroni)
- Servo controller – £8 (Hobbytronics)
- 2 x 9g Servo – £5 (Ebay)
- Mounting board
- Some pieces of technics lego
- Felt tip pen
- Cable ties
Total cost is about £30 excluding keyboard, Raspberry power supply and screen.
